Register Pilgrimage to Rome. Persecution in Nigeria. Holocaust Education Week. Remembrance Day.
In this episode, correspondents Luke Mandato and Quinton Amundson join host Mickey Conlon to celebrate the Archdiocese of Toronto’s upcoming Jubilee pilgrimage to Rome. Amundson shares insights from his conversation with Fr. Tim Hanley ahead of his upcoming journey, while Mandato highlights local pilgrimage stories covered in the Register. The three examine the state of Nigeria as a country of particular concern, looking into Amundson’s interview on the persecution of Christians. Turning to remembrance, Mandato provides an update on the Toronto Holocaust Museum’s Education Week events, before Conlon previews the Register’s past Remembrance Day coverage, looking back and honouring those who sacrificed their lives for Canadian freedom.
